Biography
Randy Hazlett is currently working as a Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering, College of Engineering & Natural Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, Stephenson Hall 2270. He completed his Ph.D from University of Texas-Austin, M.S from University of Texas-Austin and B.S. from University of Texas-Austin. His Research Interests are Computational Fluid Dynamics Applications in Reservoir Engineering, Discrete Well Modelling, Enhanced Oil Recovery, Flow in Fractures, Lattice Boltzmann methods for Petroleum Engineering, Multi phase Flow in Porous Media, Pressure and Rate Transient Analysis, Production from Complex Fracture Systems, Productivity Modelling of Complex Wells, Unconventional Reservoirsm, His Teaching Interests are Enhanced Oil Recovery, Production Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Rock and Fluid Properties.
