Biography
N.BALASUBRAMANIAN currently working as a Professor at A.C. Tech Campus, Anna University, Chennai-600 025, India having Experience of 16 years He completed his Ph.D. (Chemical Engg) from IIT Madras, India, M.Tech (Chem. Engg) from NIT Trichy, India and B.Tech (Chem. Engg) from CIT Coimbatore, India. He is expertise in the areas of Electrochemical treatment of organic effluent, Improvement of Biodegradability index through advanced oxidation process, Development of low temperature process for spent carbon reactivation, Development of Membrane Bioreactor, Development of grapheme based polymer nano composite for energy storage Heavy metal analysis, Safety and Risk Assessment of Chemical Process industry. He is Associate Member of Institute of Chemical Engineers UK, Fellow of International Congress of Chemistry and Environment, India, Life Member of Society for Advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology, India Member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, India. His on-going projects are Hydrothermal Synthesis of mesoporous carbon for effective removal of dye effluents UGC India, Development of Hybrid membrane bioreactor –DST India.
