East universities teaching for Petroleum Engineering programmes … Dr Ahmed was a senior lecturer and director for Petroleum Technology Programmes at University of Teesside- Middlesbrough- UK. Dr Ahmed is a visiting professor at Heriot-Watt University – Dubai Campus. Currently; Dr Ahmed - associate professor of petroleum engineering at the American University-Sharjah; Advisor for SPE-AUS chapter ; and Chair the petroleum minor committee.

Dr H Ahmed has more than 34 years of experiences; in Oil & Gas industry in Europe and MENA, he also has experience in teaching, training and research . Hussain has authorized several technical papers and scientific articles.
